Talk to an Inntel expert
The Business Travel Association (BTA) has launched a new accreditation for its travel management company members, and Inntel is one of the first to be awarded this. The BTA developed the initiative after identifying a gap in consistent, independent standards to help procurement teams assess travel management companies (TMCs).
BTA Accreditation is the industry’s mark of quality for TMCs, giving procurement teams confidence that they are selecting a travel management company that meets rigorous professional standards and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
As a BTA member, Inntel underwent a series of assessments covering core areas including financial stability, data protection, insurance and professional competence. We successfully met all the requirements, allowing us to showcase this new accreditation.
Going forward, the association to this scheme will provide businesses with a clearer indication of Inntel’s quality, helping strengthen trust and transparency.
Inntel’s CEO, Douglas O’Neill, has served as a BTA Board Director since 2019 and as Board Chair since 2025. He says the accreditation will bring significant benefits to both TMCs and procurement teams.
“For too long, the industry has lacked a consistent, independent benchmark for assessing professional credentials. As a BTA member, we’re proud to be among the first TMCs aiming to secure this new accreditation, which helps address that need. It’s a major step forward for the TMC community and a win-win for both agencies and procurement teams.”
