Meet Paul Mayo

Paul is the newest member of our Client Relationship Management team, having joined Inntel in August 2024. He brings with him a total of 22 years of travel sales and account management experience and we’re happy to have him on board. Read on to find out more about Paul…

What attracted you to working in this industry?

I worked in hospitality from a young age before becoming a travel sales consultant. After that I was working in a call centre for a car hire broker, but the unsociable hours were challenging with a young family and I missed the ‘travel’ element of the industry. Then, an opportunity came along at a great time for me and I’ve never looked back.

Describe a typical workday for you?

There is no typical day, and I love the variety! I could be out on the road visiting our clients and suppliers, visiting our office or working from home. The hybrid working model really suits me and my family’s lifestyle.

What type of business traveller are you?

An organised one. I ensure my mobiles are fully charged and bring a charging pack with me, too. My life is on my phone!

What motivates you?

It’s more of a question of ‘who’ for me. My wife and kids do – every single day. They’re incredibly supportive, too.
