The new hotel offers a rare blend of heritage, wellness and modern luxury. There are 54 beautiful rooms, a restaurant showcasing seasonal produce, and a unique, naturally heated open-air swimming pool dating back to the 1930s. Also, the venue offers two great event spaces, a grand ballroom accommodating 150 guests, and a smaller space for up to 40 guests.
Leonardo Hotels Central Europe has expanded its presence in Germany with the acquisition of four IntercityHotels in Nuremberg, Freiburg, Magdeburg and Erfurt. Each property is centrally located close to major railway stations. The hotels will initially operate under a white-label banner until Q2 this year, when planned refurbishment works are completed.
BA has announced two new additions to its flight schedule for 2026. Seasonal services from London Heathrow to Tivat, Montenegro, are set to launch on 14th May, operating three times a week throughout the summer.
The airline has also confirmed year-round daily flights to Guernsey, starting on 19th April, strengthening connectivity between the Channel Islands and London.
Deutsche Bahn and Eurostar have begun exploring options for a direct high-speed rail connection between Germany and London. Not only will this be a convenient option for passengers, but it also supports sustainable travel. Targets have been set for early 2030s, provided certain conditions are met.
