Inspirational Inntel staff were celebrated at the company’s recent Annual Summer Party. Awards were handed to the twelve employees who made the most outstanding contributions and achievements in the past twelve months.

The awards ceremony formed part of the Annual Summer party, which was attended by all Inntel staff, their families and key suppliers. The event saw a range of awards reflecting Inntel’s company values – Fixers, Entrepreneurs, Perfectionists, Experts and the Name you can Trust, as well as departmental awards – all voted for by the company’s employees. The ceremony also recognised ‘green’ and long service awards.

Guests were treated to a barbeque feast, unlimited ice-cream van, a bar and activities for the children of staff, before the awards were presented by Douglas O’Neill, Inntel CEO.

National Account Manager, Eleanor Sumner picked up the Entrepreneur award and Meetings & Events Consultant Becky Abbott was awarded the Perfectionist Award. Two members of Inntel’s Finance team collected awards – Dan Rogers for the Fixer Award and Chloe Shrubsole for the Name you can Trust Award.

Sian Sayward, winner of the Expert Award was also presented the Outstanding Employee of the Year trophy. This category was highly contested but Sian’s dedication, willingness to help, knowledge and creativity made her the worthy winner.

One of the responsibilities of the incoming Employee of the Year is to choose which charity Inntel will fundraise for during the next 12 months. Sian has selected a charity close to her heart – Families in Focus, an organisation which supports and guides families of children with disabilities and special needs across Essex.

Douglas O’Neill, CEO, said; “The Annual Summer Party is an event everyone at Inntel looks forward to. It’s a great evening which is held as not only a thank you to our staff, but also a thank you to their families for their support. The awards that are presented at the event are the pinnacle of our year, rewarding individuals who have really excelled”.
