Inntel achieves Greengage accreditation
In our continuing efforts to improve environmental sustainability, Inntel has been awarded the prestigious and well-respected Greengage ECOsmart accreditation.
Greengage Solutions specialise in promoting a green approach to the travel and events industry, encouraging businesses to understand and minimise their environmental impact. The in-depth accreditation covers a commitment to sustainability, energy and water conservation, waste management and recycling, staff engagement, corporate and social responsibility, supply chain management and more.
As one of the leading independent travel, meetings and accommodation experts in the UK, Inntel’s commitment to environmental sustainability will have a sizable impact on our own carbon footprint and that of our clients and suppliers.
Douglas O’Neill, Inntel’s CEO said: “We’re incredibly proud to have received this accreditation, which sits alongside many other accreditations we have been awarded highlighting our commitment to the environment, our people and our industry. I’d like to thank Anna Snoep, Director of Operations, and David Luney, Client Relationship Manager, for all their hard work, making Inntel a ‘greener’ organisation. Our Sustainability Mission Statement sets out our passion and pledge to achieving our carbon net zero status and this accreditation takes us one step closer to that goal.”
Andrew Perolls, Greengage’s CEO said: “I was delighted to present Inntel with their Greengage ECOsmart accreditation. It’s clear that Inntel prioritises environmental sustainability in all areas of their business. Their commitment to protecting our planet forms part of their company culture and their efforts to become a greener organisation are impressive.”
We will now continue on our ESG journey and pathway to Net Zero, supported by Greengage and the Inntel Green Team.
