At Inntel, we are committed to a sustainable future and contributing to the environmental, social and economic wellbeing of our environment and the planet.
We are proud to share a selection of our CSR activities:
Chosen Charity
Every year, we focus our charitable efforts into a new charity and our Employee of the Year selects our annual chosen charity. For 12 months, all our company fund raising activity is done in aid of that organisation. This year, we are fundraising for Mid and North East Essex Mind, whose mission it is to to support and empower people experiencing an emotional or mental health condition by building on their personal hopes and aspirations. In total, Inntel raised an incredible £3,147 for Mind in 2021. In March 2022, our Employee awards take place and a new charity will be selected by our Employee of the Year.
Investing for the future
We are actively working to identify the future stars of our industry and one of the ways we do this, is to engage in apprenticeship schemes. We offer apprenticeship opportunities across all departments and at various levels. We work with a variety of training providers to support our programme and welcome new apprentices on a regular basis. Many of our apprentices stay with us in a permanent role after they have completed their course.
Work in the community
Inntel is a SME and recognises the benefit of collaborating with other SME’s, especially those in our community. We actively support the community that we are located in and promote local employment and infrastructure. This includes utilising the services of local suppliers for waste and recycling collection, office supplies, office cleaning, milk delivery and maintenance.
Senior members of the Inntel team also support local business networking forums, these are not business opportunities but skill sharing groups so that other SME’s can learn and share skills amongst the various businesses.
We also support the local community in other ways. This includes sponsorship of Coggeshall Cricket Club, Bures United under 7s football team, fundraising events for local charities and work placements for local schools and colleges.
We are proud to be part of the St Helena Hospice Corporate Membership Scheme
